Have you heard of the program with the title “True Love Waits”? Well I am not getting ready to talk about that….but coming into this new year 2011, I thought about what that title means to me. If I go to my instructions on love in 1 Corinthians 13, I see verse 4 that says “…love is patient, love is kind…”. Doesn’t that sound like true love waits? The key words that pop out to me that make me ponder are the words “true” and the word “wait”. What is true love and why should we wait for it?
Well true Love was shown through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and He waits for us to accept Him and live the life He predestined for us to live….a life of love, peace, joy and favor! Will you walk in true love this year and reap the blessings of a life abundantly?
